Rihanna has been making waves on the performance scene once again after more than five years away. She made a fantastic comeback with her Super Bowl halftime performance last month, where she also announced she was expecting, before her big Oscars appearance.
Days after her successful halftime performance, she discussed the potential release date for her legendary album, R9. I hope that happens this year. In an interview with Vogue UK, she stated, “I also need the appropriate background music to go with the visuals. I can’t just go record myself talking and upload it.
Rihanna hasn’t specified a release date for her ninth album, but whenever it does, it will be the eagerly awaited sequel to 2016’s Anti. In addition to “Lift Me Up,” Rihanna also released “Born Again,” which plays during the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever end credits.
