With the hopes of contributing to the Education Transformation Agenda, a delegation from the Ghana film industry led by renowned actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto and Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 visited the minister in charge of education, Honorable Yaw Osei Adutwum in his office to have a beautiful conversation.
The likes of Okyeame Kwame, Koo Ofori, Director Jones, as well as Mikky Berko also joined the insightful via Zoom.
The group expressed their willingness to contribute to the development of the education sector through films and promised to produce films that not only entertain but also educate the masses on various societal issues.
The honorable minister also highlighted the importance of using films as a tool for education and urged the film producers to ensure that the films they produce will tell the untold stories of Ghana and inspire greatness in children.
He believes with a collaborative effort between the movie industry and the education sector will transform and raise the nation.
