The Ghana Italian Women Association, GIWA celebrated the international women’s day in a very special way as they visited mothers at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital in Accra to extend a helping hand.
Yesterday, Mar 8, 2023 was a day the world celebrates women contribution to societal growth and also encourage they to be strong and determined. The association full of amazing Italian women as part of this year’s celebration paid bills of some mothers at the hospital with financial difficulties.
This is not the only thing these great women have done, they have been doing lots of amazing stuff in the country to improve lives — donations, women and youth empowerment programs which has been very useful to many Ghanaians.

At Korle Bu hospital in Accra we have arranged to weld their medical expenses so that they could go back home with their newborns.
